Job Overview
Northedge, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, logistics, and supply chain coordination. This role requires a strong background in operations management, proven leadership skills, and the ability to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control processes, including demand planning, cycle counts, and order fulfillment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and growth.
- Utilize transportation management systems to effectively coordinate inbound and outbound shipping activities.
- Develop and manage budgets related to warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to strengthen logistics strategies and overall performance.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts through ERP/WMS systems.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role in logistics or supply chain environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping/receiving, and warehouse distribution practices.
- Familiarity with lean principles, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in transportation planning, fleet management, and procurement processes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms (experience with AS400 preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a successful track record of managing and developing teams.
- Knowledge of freight operations and materials management is a plus.
