Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Chatterbox Therapy Center is a therapist-led company based in Addison, Texas, offering specialized speech and language services to children with a range of communication needs. We partner with local school districts to provide quality speech therapy services. We have been partnering with local districts for the past 5 years.
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school based role. Services would be provided in the Dallas, Texas area, potentially downtown.
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Document sessions, track progress, and assist with goal planning
- Promote communication and social interaction in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families to individualize student support
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education
- Support the Speech Pathologist in compliance and tracking of individual case needs.
- Associate’s degree (or higher) from an accredited SLPA program
- Active SLPA license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Professional, reliable, and transportation to get to locations
- Monday to Friday
- 7.5-hour shifts
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
