Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathologist at our clinic in Addison, TX. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include creating personalized therapy plans, conducting therapy sessions, collaborating with families and caregivers, and tracking patient progress to facilitate reaching their goals. The role also involves close collaboration with a team of professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Speech Therapy, including assessment, treatment, and intervention strategies.
- Knowledge and experience in addressing Speech, Language Disorders, and Communication Disorders.
- Proficiency in evaluating and managing Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders, or willingness to learn
- AAC knowledge and background, or willingness to learn
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred, but we will consider a CFY
