What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions and Intake Coordinator (30 - 32 hours) position at Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy Center?
Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy Center is currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to fill the position of Intake Coordinator working approximately 30 to 32 hours per week. We proudly offer speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy services in a fun, family-centered environment.
As an admissions and intake coordinator you will be responsible for manages incoming referrals and the registration process of clients including gathering patient information, obtaining applicable insurance information from parents and coordinating schedules.
Essential Qualifications: Requirements an individual must meet to be eligible for the position, including the following knowledge, skills, education, and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience in a professional environment; experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
- Some college education preferred (Associate’s degree or higher)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in fast-paced environment
- Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, track information accurately, and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with medical terminology preferred

Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time approximately 30 to 32 hours per week with availability to work between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am to 5 pm on Fridays at our Boise clinics.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
