Schedule: 5 days per week, Monday–Saturday availability

Chattanooga Sewing Machines is a growing, family-owned business looking for an outgoing, motivated, and experienced salesperson to join our Chattanooga team.

No sewing or embroidery experience? No problem!

We're not looking for someone who already knows everything about sewing machines. We're looking for someone who knows how to SELL!

We'll provide the product knowledge and hands-on training you need to become confident demonstrating and selling our equipment.

Whether you've sold furniture, appliances, electronics, automobiles, or other specialty retail products, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

• Greeting customers and creating a welcoming, professional shopping experience.
• Building relationships with customers and understanding their needs.
• Demonstrating and selling sewing, embroidery, and quilting machines, software, furniture, and accessories.
• Confidently explaining product features, benefits, and value.
• Following up with potential customers, providing quotes, and closing sales.
• Working toward individual and store sales goals.
• Identifying opportunities to recommend additional products that benefit the customer.
• Learning new products through hands-on training and manufacturer education.
• Assisting with merchandising, store displays, and daily retail operations.
• Providing excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale.
• Working with other team members to maintain a positive and productive store environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous sales experience is REQUIRED.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and close sales.
• An outgoing, confident, and professional personality.
• Self-motivation and a desire to achieve sales goals.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and confidently demonstrate technical products.

• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new products and attend occasional training.
• Availability to work five days per week, Monday through Saturday, based on scheduling needs.

Experience selling higher-priced retail products such as furniture, appliances, electronics, automobiles, or other specialty merchandise is a plus.

Sewing, embroidery, or quilting experience is NOT required! We'll teach you the products. You bring the sales experience, motivation, and drive to succeed!
