What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Manager position at Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Orient new families to the school and provide assistance to increase student and parent engagement in school
- Performs standard administrative functions such as screening telephone calls, opening mail, scheduling appointments and maintaining the calendar, and coordinating meetings (internal or external.)
- Purchasing office supplies and equipment and maintaining proper stock levels
- Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, calculators, duplicating (copier) machines, facsimile machines, printers, scanners, etc.
- Maintains break room and other common areas, including cleaning appliances and sanitizing of high-traffic areas and surfaces
- Assist with truancy and attendance concerns
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Skilled with Microsoft Windows environment and the Internet, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, etc.
- Experience handling incoming phone calls; remains professional at all times; front office etiquette
- Effective oral and written communication skills; correspondences and student reports
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent organizational skills
