• The CCSE Middle RTI (Response to Intervention) Coordinator for the 2026-2027 academic year plays a vital role in supporting educational excellence through targeted intervention strategies. This certified, paid grant position involves coordinating middle school RTI initiatives, managing project timelines, and collaborating with educators, administrators, and external partners. The coordinator will lead curriculum development efforts, oversee grant proposals, and ensure the effective implementation of research-based practices to enhance student achievement. Duties

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of RTI programs tailored for middle school students to promote academic success.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of interventions and initiatives.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and refine curricula aligned with research-based instructional strategies.
• Write grant proposals to secure funding for ongoing and new RTI projects, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines.
• Provide leadership in education administration by coordinating training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities for staff.
• Support recruitment efforts by engaging with potential educators and specialists to build a strong intervention team.
• Offer academic advising and support to teachers working with diverse student populations, including working directly with students when needed.
• Conduct ongoing research on best practices in education and RTI implementation to inform program improvements.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and documenting program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management within an educational setting, preferably at the middle school level.
• Strong background in teaching, curriculum development, and higher education teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in grant proposal writing and securing funding for educational initiatives.
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of education administration principles and effective management strategies.
• Familiarity with research methods related to student achievement and intervention programs.
• Experience working directly with students, providing academic advising or support services, is advantageous.
• Exceptional writing skills for preparing reports, proposals, and instructional materials.
• Prior university or higher education experience is preferred but not mandatory.
