Coordinates the movement and control of material through the shipment department.
Essential Functions
- Pulls customer orders and prepares them for shipment.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Processes small packages (UPS/FEDEX).
- Keys or scans shipping transactions into the manufacturing system.
- Copies and distributes paperwork, as needed.
- Maintains records and files paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
- May manually handle, repack, or repalletize materials.
- Must operate a forklift truck, pallet jack, parts counting scales, stretch wrapper, and other material handling devices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
