Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service to ensure a positive dining or drinking experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Jonas POS ensuring all details are correct
- Mix and serve drinks responsibly, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces, following food handling and safety protocols
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as needed to support various hospitality operations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining, banquet settings, or nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for handling bills, retail math for sales transactions
- Knowledge of the food industry standards, including food handling procedures and hospitality best practices
