Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Logistical Associate role based in Chatham, MA. The Sales and Logistical Associate supports the sales team by assisting customers on the showroom floor, answering product questions, preparing vehicle information, and helping guide guests through the sales process. The role also coordinates logistical activities such as transporting vehicle inventory, organizing vehicle deliveries and transfers, and assisting with vehicle registrations. Daily tasks include communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person; collaborating with the sales and service departments; and helping maintain a clean, organized showroom and lot. The associate is expected to provide timely, professional service, follow dealership procedures, and support overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage logistical tasks, including inventory tracking, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating vehicle movements.
- Comfort using computers and dealership or retail software systems, with accurate data entry and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn automotive product knowledge and dealership processes; prior automotive or retail experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including some evenings or weekends as business needs require.
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
