Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Spanish language curriculum for 7th and 8th-grade students
- Create lesson plans that align with North Carolina World Language Essential Standards
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate Spanish into other subject areas
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events as needed
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
- North Carolina teaching license with Spanish (K-12) endorsement, or ability to obtain one
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience teaching Spanish at the middle school level preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Familiarity with technology integration in language instruction
