Multiple Positions AvailableUnder general direction, you
- Operate medium and heavy motorized equipment, including but not limited to medium reach and mini excavator, Jet-Vac, front-end loader, tandem dump truck, lowboy, etc., and operate other equipment as required.
- Perform ditch construction and maintenance.
- Occasionally perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- May supervise a small work crew.
- Serve on the Critical Work Force Category 2 and there are times you will need to be on call on a 24-hour basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, and
- Two (2) years of experience in the operation of medium and heavy Public Works or construction equipment; or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Must provide and wear approved steel toe protective footwear during regular working hours.
- Must possess and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License at the time of application.
- Must possess a Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsement or be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire date.
