Role Summary: Join the dedicated team to leverage Generative AI and redefine industry engagement. The primary goal is to automate prompting, develop frameworks for reuse across business units, and address internal and external needs through LLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with domain experts to translate business needs into clear and effective LLM prompts.
• Develop, test, and refine prompts for various use cases to ensure high accuracy and relevance.
• Work with software developers to integrate LLM solutions into existing or new applications.
• Contribute to a scalable prompt engineering framework to promote reuse and knowledge sharing.
• Analyze user feedback to continually improve prompt effectiveness.
• Stay updated on LLM advancements and contribute to tool and platform selection strategies.
• Document processes, best practices, and use case outcomes.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.
• Specific Skills:
• 3 years of experience in prompt engineering (familiarity with OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face, etc.).
• 3 years of experience with Python or other AI/ML programming languages.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
• Previous experience with NLP or machine learning projects.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Eligibility & Onboarding

• Location Requirement: Must be willing to work out of an office in Niskayuna, NY or Cambridge, MA.
• Accelerated Immersion Program: Candidates based in Cambridge, MA must complete a required 3-month hybrid onboarding residency at the GE Vernova Advanced Research Center in Niskayuna, NY (Travel, housing, and stipend provided).
• Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Payscale: $113,200.00 – $188,800.00 per year (subject to geographic differential depending on location).
