The lead will drive quality strategy, establish QA frameworks, and act as the main point of contact for quality-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Strategy & Ownership: Define and own the end-to-end data quality strategy, establish quality KPIs, SLAs, and acceptance criteria, and develop and track quality OKRs.
- Quality Operations & Execution: Design and implement QA frameworks, oversee daily quality performance, and ensure high-quality outputs across teleoperation sessions, robotics interaction data, sensor/video capture, and annotation/labeling.
- Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and report on quality metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Enablement: Lead and mentor Robotics Quality Specialists, define training programs, and promote a quality-first culture.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary escalation point for quality issues and interface with stakeholders on performance, reporting, and resolutions.
- Process, Documentation & Compliance: Maintain quality documentation and ensure alignment with safety and compliance standards.
- Experience managing quality in large-scale data operations, robotics, AI/ML, or similar environments.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
- Strong background in quality frameworks, process improvement, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience with robotics workflows, teleoperation, or sensor-based data collection is preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Experience with RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
