Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform (Lakehouse, Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, etc.).
- Work directly with business and technical stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases.
- Lead client discovery sessions to define workflows, data availability, and success criteria.
- Architect AI-native data platforms supporting agentic workflows, semantic analytics, and model deployment.
- Build Genie rooms, semantic layers, and data products to operationalize insights.
- Create prototypes, demos, and technical reference architectures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to shape Databricks-led opportunities.
- Strong experience in data engineering, AI engineering, or enterprise software development.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse architecture.
- Excellent Python and SQL skills (experience with PySpark, MLflow, Unity Catalog strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with enterprise AI patterns: RAG, agents, model serving, vector search, and governance.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into technical architecture.
- Strong communication skills for engaging executives and technical teams.
- Practical understanding of moving from demo to production in complex enterprise environments.
- Databricks certification or deep hands-on delivery experience in the Databricks ecosystem.
- Experience building Databricks Apps, Genie rooms, Lakebase applications, or agentic solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Background in consulting, solution architecture, or field engineering.
- Experience designing governed data products or operational analytics applications.
- Knowledge of industry use cases in retail, CPG, manufacturing, supply chain, or energy.
