AI Platform Engineer

ERP Suites develops Enterprise AI agents and orchestration solutions hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Location

Loveland, OH

• Remote. Home office in Cincinnati, OH. Fully remote candidates considered, with occasional travel to ERP Suites facilities or customer sites.
  
  

Position Summary

Responsible for the platform foundation supporting ERP Suites' AI products and customer environments. Partners with AI Architect and Product Team to deploy, manage, secure, and optimize OCI environments, automation pipelines, and AI agent deployment frameworks.

Daily Activities

• Monitor OCI service health, logs, dashboards, and alerts
• Troubleshoot platform issues and customer environment concerns
• Support development teams with infrastructure questions and deployment needs
• Manage CI/CD pipeline performance and resolve deployment failures
• Execute provisioning, onboarding, and configuration requests
• Update documentation and architecture artifacts
• Participate in standups, planning meetings, and technical reviews
  
  

Monthly Activities

• Review OCI consumption reports, billing dashboards, and cost optimization
• Conduct IAM, security, and credential audits
• Evaluate reference architecture environments for drift and updates
• Refine deployment methodologies, runbooks, and documentation
• Assess Oracle OCI roadmap updates
• Contribute technical documentation and knowledge-sharing
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: Provision and manage OCI (compute, networking, load balancers, API gateways, IAM, containers, OCI Functions, ADB-S). Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• AI Agent Deployment: Own customer-facing deployment methodologies, runbooks, environment configurations. Coordinate provisioning, compartment creation, IAM setup. Manage development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitoring, Observability & FinOps: Build Grafana dashboards, develop ETL for cost data, monitor platform health, resolve observability gaps.
• Security & Governance: Audit IAM, Vault, credentials. Maintain TLS automation with ACME/Let's Encrypt. Ensure access controls and security best practices.
• Technical Architecture: Create and maintain diagrams, documentation, deployment workflows. Participate in planning with customers.
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 2 years in AI Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, MLOps, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience deploying AI agents, microservices, or cloud-native apps
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (Grafana, LangFuse, OCI Logging, Metrics APIs)
• Knowledge of TLS, DNS, ACME, Let's Encrypt, certificate automation
• CI/CD, source control, deployment pipelines, artifact management
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Bash scripting
• Strong technical writing and architecture diagramming skills

• Oracle Cloud certifications (OCI Architect Professional, OCI DevOps Professional)
• Multi-tenant SaaS or managed-service experience
• LLM infrastructure and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, MCP)
• AI observability platforms (LangFuse, MLflow)
• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (CNC, AIS, Orchestrator Studio, security)
