Agentic AI Business Applications Developer (AMD)

THE ROLE: Architect how the team connects to data, exposes capabilities, and delivers high-quality AI outcomes. Own both strategy and execution—determining the right data access strategy, designing capability interfaces (MCP-based servers, callable skills, API endpoints), and directly shaping the quality of AI outputs. End-to-end ownership includes testing, evaluating, monitoring, and continuously improving AI output.

THE PERSON: Systems thinker with strong business process awareness and sound judgment on data access strategy. Security-first mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and genuine orientation toward output quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Capability Design & AI Interface Architecture: Design AI interface layer, make decisions on live retrieval vs. caching vs. staging vs. structured storage; implement MCP-based interfaces; design typed request/response contracts.
• Security, Governance & Access Control: Design governed access using RBAC, SSO; ensure authentication, authorization, audit logging, rate limiting for every capability.
• Enterprise Systems & Data Integration: Connect AI to enterprise platforms (analytics, collaboration, graph APIs, relational databases); write Python and SQL; understand business processes behind data.
• AI Output Quality & Evaluation: Design and run evaluation frameworks (accuracy, relevance, groundedness, hallucination rates); diagnose root causes of poor outputs.
• Documentation, Patterns & Enablement: Build production-quality documentation; develop reusable patterns; train team members; stay current with AI tooling/agent ecosystem.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Highly Preferred: Experience in systems design, API development, platform engineering, or solutions architecture; integrating with enterprise business platforms; working knowledge of RBAC, SSO; Python and SQL proficiency; hands-on API design (OpenAPI, JSON Schema, REST, GraphQL) in production; active daily use of AI developer tools as a builder; ability to decompose business processes; track record of shipping production-grade systems.
• Preferred: Experience implementing/configuring MCP servers or AI agent tool/skill definitions; designing AI evaluation frameworks; background in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing; familiarity with RAG architectures; experience in business-embedded, non-IT team making independent integration decisions.
  
  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
