Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Event Setup Laborer (Overnight) to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring events are executed flawlessly by handling room setups, maintaining facility standards, and supporting the banquet and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event spaces according to floor plans, including tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, AV equipment, and décor elements.
- Ensure all event areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready prior to start times.
- Move, store, and maintain banquet furniture and equipment.
- Assist with banquet setup tasks such as buffets, beverage stations, and specialty installations.
- Perform light facility maintenance (painting touch-ups, chair pad replacement, minor repairs).
- Maintain storage areas and ensure equipment is organized and in working order.
- Report hazards, damages, or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Prior experience in event setup, facilities, or hospitality operations preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, tables, and chairs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow setup diagrams accurately.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Must be available to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance is a plus.
