We are seeking passionate, skilled groomers who take pride in their craft and love creating unforgettable experiences for both pets and their owners.
Overview:
As a Groomer at Chateau Du Paw, you’ll elevate the standard of pet grooming. You’ll provide expert bathing, brushing, and styling services, while helping ensure the wellness, safety, and satisfaction of every dog in our care. In this role, you’ll represent our salon's luxury brand while working collaboratively in a supportive, elegant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional grooming services including bathing, conditioning, brushing, dematting, and breed-specific styling.
- Ensure pet wellness, comfort, and safety at every stage of grooming.
- Build lasting relationships with pet parents by understanding preferences and educating them about services and products.
- Recommend customized add-on services and spa treatments to enhance each grooming experience.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, calm, and professional grooming environment.
- Assist with check-ins/check-outs, appointment management, and general salon upkeep.
- Participate in local outreach, client events, or seasonal promos as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of grooming experience OR completion of a formal grooming certification program.
- Skilled in handling and grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Passion for pets and a strong commitment to their care.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, lift, and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Must provide or be willing to purchase your own grooming tools.
- Punctual, reliable, and organized.
