What You’ll Do
- Prepare and execute breakfast, lunch, and dinner service from scratch using fresh ingredients
- Follow recipes while bringing creativity and quality to every plate
- Cook a variety of menu items/cuisine. Specials change daily
- Manage your station — prep, cook, plate, and maintain throughout service
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation per health code standards
- Collaborate with kitchen and dining room staff to deliver smooth, timely service
- Assist with receiving and rotating inventory as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Assist with special events when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of cooking experience in a scratch restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen
- Solid knife skills and working knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to manage prep and production in a fast-paced but organized environment
- Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification and MAST (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player who takes pride in their work
- A genuine interest in serving others — experience in senior living is a plus but not required
- Pass a Department of Social Services background check
