Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
- Operate the Toast POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Utilize time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following cashiering protocols.
- Contribute to sales goals through effective upselling techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous barista or coffee experience preferred, with a strong understanding of beverage preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
