What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager position at Chastain Creamery?
Chastain Creamery is recruiting self motivated food service professionals to join our Atlanta based management team. Our ideal candidate has experience attaining sales goals and building a sense of community among crew members. Attention to detail, accurately managing inventory, labor hours and quality control are core strengths. You are driven and possess the leadership skills necessary to attract, train and motivate top talent. Quick service or specialty restaurant experience as a team lead or shift manager is a plus. You navigate an array of personalities while simultaneously spearheading the best customer experience.
Routine responsibilities include developing strategies to drive sales, programs to market the creamery and meet profit goals. Maintain a working knowledge of all ice cream shop products, processes and standards. Lead by example with professionalism in all internal and external communication. Willingness to assist with additional tasks as needed or assigned by the Chastain Creamery leadership team.
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Independently supervise & evaluate staff
- Setup/breakdown events, parties, etc.
- All functions of day to day operations
- Receive shipments, organize back of house
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma; GA food handlers card
- Clear background check
- Stand long periods, lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexibility to open and close late nights
- Available 35-40 hours per week
- Marketing/Social content skills a plus
Pay Range (Full-Time)
$18–22 per hour
Pay rates are based on experience
