*Job Overview*
We are seeking dedicated Construction Forklift Operators to join our team at the LH Battery Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading and transporting heavy machines throughout the job site.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading and transporting heavy machines (10k – 60k lbs) throughout the job site.
Responsibilities
- Primary duties will include unloading cargo from trailers or shipping containers
- Relocating and rough setting cargo to the designated location inside the building
- Perform daily inspection paperwork for the machines you will be utilizing
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Follow proper reporting procedures
- When not operating a machine, employee will be assisting with uncrating the cargo, and maintaining cleanliness of the work areas
- Job duties may vary based on existing needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a construction environment or related field required
- Minimum 1 year experience operating construction forklifts. ie: 5K, 10K, 15K, 36K, 55K, JLG, scissor lift
- Effective communication with your spotter to ensure and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to follow all PPE and Safety protocols efficiently
- Ability to safely unload and transport heavy machines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
