CNC Machinist Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HMC Set-Up Machinist to produce precision parts in accordance with blueprints and engineering drawings. This role involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting horizontal machining center (HMC) machines, while ensuring that all work meets quality, safety, and production standards.Key Responsibilities:Prioritize workload based on due dates and machine schedules.Retrieve job documentation from the computer for each machine in the cell.Perform stability studies of gauges used in production.Verify process, print, and program revisions using Q-Pulse.Select, measure, and load tools for each job.Set up pallet jaws and load/unload parts.Operate HMC machines, run first-piece inspections, and ensure accuracy.Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.Measure parts against blueprints/drawings using precision measurement tools.Package completed products for secondary operations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all safety, sanitation, and PPE guidelines.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.Basic computer and math skills.Experience working with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.Basic tooling knowledge.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality/productivity standards.Comfortable working around machinery in a fast-paced setting.Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs without assistance.Punctual and dependable attendance.Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Repetitive lifting, bending, and machine loading/unloading required.Manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels.Pre-Employment Screening: Drug screen and background check required.Chase Technical is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, disability, sex, age, ethnic or national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or presentation, pregnancy, genetics, veteran status or any other status protected by state or federal law.ADA Statement: CHASE Technical is committed to complying fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and ensuring equal employment opportunities for qualified persons with disabilitiesCompany DescriptionAbout Chase Technical:CHASE Staffing, formerly CHASE Professionals, is a US-based staffing firm with 20 branch locations and over 10,000 jobs filled in 2021.
