Warehouse Associate/Simpsonville, SC
Summary/objective
The Warehouse Associate (WA) will be responsible for assisting in any area of the warehouse the Production Manager may need.
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm (M-F)
Pay: $18/$20 (Depends on Experience)
Essential functions
- Learn all functions of shipping department
- Learn all functions of the receiving department
- Physically check receiving documents against actual counts
- Put inventory away
- New inbound stock
- Refill primary locations from over stock
- Perform cycle counts daily
- Stage material for cutters
- Keep all work areas clean
- Preventative maintenance (All training and tools will be provided)
- Assist in special projects as needed

Preferred education and experience
- 2 years’ work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Requirements
- Great attitude
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Should possess a combination of technical aptitude as well as great interpersonal relationships skills
- Must be organized
- Self-starter
- Problem solving
- Must be able to take instruction
- Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to perform basic math
- Must be able to use hand tools
- Must be able to use a tape measure
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
This is a position that encompasses multiple shipping/receiving responsibilities, including booking shipments. The pay range for this position is $18-20 (higher than our typical base rate as we are looking for someone with experience).
