What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Maintenance position at Chase Hill Apartments?
In coordination with the property manager and Lead Maintenance, the Assistant Maintenance is responsible for performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the overall functionality of the apartment community. The community has 200 units.Duties and Responsibilities include
- Turn vacant unit into Move in ready units.
- Repair/Replace windows, latches, screens, hinges, sliding doors, shelves, baseboards, mirrors, closet doors, blinds, tiles and filters.
- Repair/Replace appliances.
- Change locks and make keys.
- Check plumbing, repair/replace sinks, faucets, washers. Change valves as needed.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Help with keeping property clean and trash free at all times.
- On call rotation between staff
- To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- Minimum 2 Year(s) apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)
- Valid HVAC License REQUIRED
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
- A personal set of basic hand tools
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Valid Driver's License
