Duties
- Engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts to promote various insurance products
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate health, life, property, or casualty insurance solutions
- Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, ongoing support, and benefits administration guidance
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to meet client needs while adhering to insurance regulations and compliance standards
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, policies, and client interactions
- Educate clients on insurance regulations such as HIPAA for health insurance or other relevant legal requirements
- Assist clients with client communication, policy renewals, claims processes, and benefits updates in a clear and professional manner
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on insurance or financial products
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze client needs and tailor solutions accordingly
- Knowledge of commercial insurance, health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, and related regulations such as HIPAA
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite for sales tracking and documentation
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly valued for diverse client engagement
- Familiarity with sales administration processes including benefits administration and customer relationship building
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements within the industry
