Senior Packaging Engineer - Flexible Packaging
Job Summary:
We are partnering with a private equity-owned flexible packaging company focused on converting and printing films for consumer packaging. This role is critical for filling that gap, with duties focused on internal and external technical support. We need a strong communicator, comfortable working with people both inside and outside the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the internal technical expert, capturing and building upon our institutional knowledge in flexible packaging.
- Provide technical support and expertise on the converting and printing process for films.
- Understand and advise on the inner relationship of films and how they interact in our processes.
- Communicate successfully and tactfully with internal teams and external partners, both in person and via email.
What We're Looking For:
- An engineering degree is important, or another technical degree like chemistry. We're pragmatic: if you come from a non-technical background or are non-degreed, you'll need to really show out in the experience portion. If you're an amazing technical engineer, we want to see you.
- Strong experience in packaging engineering, it's got to be in flexible packaging. You need to understand films to some degree.
- A strong communicator, comfortable working both internally and externally.
