Purpose of Job
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Front Office Supervisor will provide outstanding customer service at all points of contact by managing resources based on patients health care needs and providing leadership to the front office and scheduling team as follows:
Education/Experience: HS diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working in front office setting or customer service required. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience with front office and operational metrics preferred.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills required. Computer. skills required. Ability to document information electronically clearly and efficiently, using medical terminology and accurate spelling required. Ability to organize and lead a team of people to accomplish goals required. Compassion for patients required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and sit. The employee is occasionally required to move around the facility; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

The Front Office Supervisor will provide outstanding customer service at all points of contact by managing resources based on patients health care needs and providing leadership to the front office and scheduling team as follows:
- Provides excellent customer service as first point of contact for CHAS Health.
- Ensures front office employees are scheduling patients appropriately based on established scheduling guidelines so clinic teams can achieve target productivity expectations.
- Trains and supervises front office and scheduling staff.
- Coaches and develops staff to encourage accountability, teamwork and employee engagement.
- Performs data compilation, reporting and tracking functions related to operational metrics such as appropriate scheduling practices and full and accurate patient registration.
- Performs many front office and scheduling duties as needed.
- Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
