Role Description
The Assistant Dining Director - K12 Food Service role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ballwin, MO. This role involves supporting daily management of school food service operations for a region of 5-7 schools. Which including overseeing food preparation, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Assistant Dining Director will assist with collaborating to design meal programs that meet both nutritional standards and students' preferences. They will lead and inspire a team of food service professionals to foster a positive and welcoming dining environment for students.
Qualifications
- Experience in Food Service, Food Preparation, and Food & Beverage management
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Knowledge of nutrition and food safety regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic school environment
- Prior experience in a school food service setting is a plus
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in culinary arts, hospitality management, or related field preferred
