What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Coordinator position at Chartrand Orthodontics?
At Chartrand Orthodontics, we believe creating beautiful smiles starts with creating exceptional experiences for our patients and for our team. We're looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Financial Coordinator to join our practice and become an important part of helping our patients begin their orthodontic journey with confidence.
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, giving you a three-day weekend every week!
As a Financial Coordinator, you'll be a trusted resource for our patients by:
- Providing exceptional customer service with every interaction
- Preparing and presenting both treatment and financial arrangements to new and existing patients
- Verifying orthodontic insurance benefits and explaining coverage to patients
- Following up on rejected payments and past-due account balances
- Communicating with insurance companies regarding claims and outstanding balances
- Monitoring and reporting monthly financial statistics
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Supporting the team with additional responsibilities that help our practice run smoothly
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Loves working with people and creating positive experiences
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Is self-motivated and enjoys solving problems
- Is comfortable learning new technology and computer systems
- Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Experience in orthodontics, dentistry, insurance, or financial coordination is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person who brings a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
