Job Summary: Work closely with stakeholders to understand, create and improve business requirements and translate those requirements to functional specifications for HR systems. Lead and support HR projects that require HRIS enablement. Resolve technology break/fix issues and support user adoption needs to ensure maximum benefit across our Workday platform which includes scheduling, timekeeping, payroll and leave. Design, develop and implement dataviews and dashboards to support our HR and leadership teams . Create internal technical documentation and end user support materials. Position specifics: Location: Mequon WI Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Travel: Up to 5% Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Charter Manufacturing is unable to sponsor for employment visas at this time. Key responsibilities: HRIS & Reporting Convert HR business and reporting needs into functional system specifications and manage updates. Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, dataviews, and analytics aligned with HR strategy and the user experience. Ensure reporting solutions meet business decision-making requirements. Data & Analytics Support existing HR reports and dashboards. Promote self-service analytics and partner with HR to create new data visualization methods. Participate in BI Center of Excellence meetings to uphold governance standards. Project Leadership Lead HRIS-enabled projects and manage prioritization of requests. Provide project management within the HR portfolio. User Support & Training Upskill users on HRIS functionality and reporting tools. Deliver day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for HR systems. Maintain clear communication through updates, documentation, and training materials. Compliance Follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System procedures. Meet essential job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology or related degree, or commensurate experience Three plus years’ experience in Workday Technology with scheduling, timekeeping, leave, payroll modules Workday configuration experience with break/fix resolutions, enhancements and release functionality Service first approach and end-user design focus Project management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt to different audiences. Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot basic system functionality across the HR technology ecosystem. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Nice to haves: Functional Human Resources experience.
