What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Transplant Med Tech position at CharterCARE of Rhode Island?
Summary: Assures the coordination of patient care for bone marrow transplant patients in order to provide organized and efficient care and to provide support to the Medical Director, attending physician, nursing staff and other health care professionals. Coordinates the process for FACT Accreditation.
Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, must also be a graduate of an approved healthcare program, nursing/laboratory sciences. Must maintain current licensure in a healthcare discipline.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in oncology, preferably with-in the Bone Marrow Transplant area.
