The Charter School Association of Willits is the governing body of Willits Elementary Charter School (Grades K-5) and Willits Charter School (Grades 6-12). Both schools are free, public, independent charter schools open to all who wish to attend. We do not charge tuition, teach religious doctrine, or discriminate in admissions policies or employment practices. The small town of Willits, gateway to the redwood forest, is about three hours north of San Francisco in the heart of beautiful Mendocino County. Job Summary
Willits Charter School is seeking a talented part-time Math teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics education and enjoy working with a diverse group of middle and high school students. For 2025-2026, this position includes teaching one section of each of the following classes: Math 8, CP Algebra I, and CP Geometry. This is a 0.75 FTE position but there is the possibility for full-time employment through additional duties. There is a $500 hiring bonus for this position.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid CA Teaching Credential authorizing the teaching of Mathematics including English Learner Authorization, Possession of valid CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) If hired: Fingerprinting, TB test
