High School Social Studies Teacher (2026–2027 School Year) - ACE Charter Schools
THE OPPORTUNITY
ACE Charter Schools is seeking an exceptional educator to join our team as a High School Social Studies Teacher. This role includes teaching World History courses and a Justice/Injustice elective.
We are looking for someone who is deeply curious about how to motivate students through strong community building and rigorous, standards-aligned instruction. The ideal candidate integrates strategies for English Learners and students with disabilities into daily instruction and brings a belief that every student is capable of graduating from college.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach World History courses and a Justice/Injustice elective
- Design and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction
- Build a classroom culture that promotes student engagement and community
- Integrate instructional strategies that support English Learners and students with disabilities
REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
- Ability to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction
- Experience or skill in supporting English Learners and students with disabilities
- Commitment to the belief that all students can graduate from college
COMPENSATION AND DETAILS
- Salary Range: $69,600 – $89,873 annually (Preliminary/Clear Credential)
- Additional Salary Info: $65,500 starting salary for candidates with an intern or emergency credential
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Length of Work Year: 200 days
- Number of Openings: 1
