Role Description
Our Sales Engagement Representative, will be primarily responsible for engaging with potential business clients and non-active clients through telephone calls to drive sales growth. You will identify and understand client needs, offer suitable products and ensure a positive client experience. Primarily focus will be on achieving sales targets and contributing to overall success of the company.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct 75-100 daily outbound calls to support customer revenue growth within assigned region
- Reignite customer relationships and engage with any product promotions
- Answer inbound calls from established and potential customers requesting information
- Schedule follow-up calls, meetings, or product presentations
- Generate and qualify leads to help build sales pipeline
- Identify customer needs, concerns, or opportunities during calls and rely feedback and insight to sales team
- Document call outcomes and update CRM systems (HubSpot/Sales Force) with relevant notes and follow-up actions
- Collaborate with sales team to support business growth
- Being accountable for profitable sales growth and meeting targeted monthly and annual production goals
- Be willing to achieve quotas and key performance indicators every day
- Clear, articulate, and consistent verbal communication that will effectively translate the value proposition to the customer
- Initiate support for key sales initiatives
- Other tasks and special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Outbound calling, lead generation, and sales pipeline management experience
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and account management
- Superior salesmanship and demonstrated ability to understand consumer behavior and its relationship to achieving customer solutions
- Demonstrate the ability to connect with people, customer service orientated with a strong sales mentality and drive
- Tenacity and persistence on the phone and in written communication
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with colleagues and customers at all levels by virtue of professional competence, integrity and personal style
- An independent, driven, self-motivated, passionate professional who has an exceptional personal work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the cabinetry or furniture industry is a plus
