Senior Instructional Designer – Workday & Digital Learning

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to design and deliver engaging, accessible, and data‑driven learning solutions supporting enterprise systems and Workday ERP training. This role partners closely with SMEs and stakeholders to create high‑impact digital learning experiences aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and Audience Analysis
- Design and maintain 508‑compliant instructional materials (storyboards, job aids, scripts, outlines, microlearning)
- Develop SCORM‑compliant eLearning, webinars, videos, and instructor‑led training (virtual & in‑person)
- Build courses using Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
- Create and analyze assessments (quizzes, simulations, practical exercises) to measure learning effectiveness
- Track instructional projects, timelines, and deliverables; provide stakeholder updates
- Collaborate with SMEs, leadership, and learners to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Maintain and update curriculum to align with system changes and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Instructional Design or Learning & Development experience
- Strong knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, adult learning principles
- Hands‑on experience with LMS platforms and SCORM standards
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia
- Solid understanding of Section 508 accessibility
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Instructional Design, Education, or related field
- Workday Learning (LMS) experience
- ERP implementation or large‑scale Workday training experience
- Knowledge of gamification strategies
- Multimedia skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
