The base pay for this position generally is between $60,400.00 and $96,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

Are you driven to shape political engagement and facilitate impactful government affairs? As Government Affairs Specialist at Spectrum, you'll help implement key PAC and political programs, collaborating with the Legislative Affairs team to advance our federal government initiatives. Join a role where your work directly supports strategic priorities and contributes to the influence Spectrum has within the legislative landscape.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Implement company-wide PAC strategy by organizing solicitation campaigns, planning recognition events for contributors and overseeing PAC disbursement and account management in consultation with the PAC treasurer
- Assist in executing Spectrum's legislative initiatives in Congress and with the Administration, coordinating communications and presentations and representing Spectrum at government and political events
- Oversee compliance with election law and lobbying disclosure regulations by working closely with outside counsel
- Support efforts to enhance and simplify the customer experience across all initiatives
- Manage financial accounts related to PAC operations, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Vice President of Legislative Affairs

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, political science or related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- Political or government experience
- Experience with PAC management software
Skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of the political process and campaign finance laws
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing financial accounts
- Strong work ethic with desire to complement a fun and dynamic team atmosphere
- Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
- Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record per Spectrum standards and auto insurance
