What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Product Marketing Manager position at Charta Health?
About Charta Health
In an industry where the focus should rightly be on delivering quality care to patients, healthcare providers remain burdened by the complexities of non-clinical operations. Charta is changing that.
We're building the operating system for modern healthcare organizations. Our AI platform streamlines critical workflows across revenue cycle, clinical operations, and administrative functions, helping providers and payers operate more efficiently and deliver better patient care. Backed by Bain Capital Ventures, Charta is on a mission to make every healthcare dollar accountable and every chart accurate, reimagining healthcare infrastructure from the ground up.
About the Role
Charta is hiring a founding Product Marketer to help build and scale our product marketing function. You’ll shape how we position our AI solutions, tell our story, and bring new capabilities to market as we transform how healthcare organizations operate.
You’ll take on high-impact projects, from developing messaging that resonates with healthcare decision-makers and crafting customer-facing content to support the Charta narrative. You’ll play a key role in establishing Charta as a trusted partner in healthcare transformation, collaborating across Product, Sales, and Forward-Deployed AI teams to drive growth and market adoption.
We move quickly but hold a high bar for clarity, strategic rigor, and impact. You're energized by bringing structure to ambiguity, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to build something from scratch alongside a high-performing team at the intersection of healthcare and technology.
What you’ll do:
- Own product positioning and messaging: Develop messaging frameworks, positioning strategies, and competitive differentiation that establish Charta as a leader in healthcare technology
- Craft compelling narratives: Translate complex healthcare and AI concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for diverse audiences including C-suite executives, revenue cycle leaders, and clinical operations teams
- Build content that converts: Develop a strategic content roadmap that moves healthcare decision-makers through the buyer journey, from educational thought leadership to product-specific conversion assets
- Enable the sales team: Develop high-impact sales collateral, pitch decks, demo scripts, and competitive intelligence that empower our team to effectively communicate value and close deals
- Lead go-to-market execution: Drive end-to-end product launches and feature releases, coordinating across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure successful market entry and adoption
- Scale marketing operations: Build repeatable processes, templates, and playbooks for launches, messaging development, and content creation that enable the team to move faster as we grow
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, preferably at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- Are an exceptional writer and storyteller, skilled at distilling complexity into clear, compelling narratives for different personas—from technical practitioners to executive decision-makers
- Have led or significantly contributed to product launches, including messaging development, positioning, sales enablement, and cross-functional coordination
- Possess a deep curiosity about healthcare, with the ability to quickly learn complex domains like revenue cycle management, clinical workflows, and healthcare compliance
- Thrive in 0-to-1 environments, bringing structure to ambiguity and building processes that scale
- Have a strategic mindset paired with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute tactically
Even better if you:
- Have prior experience at an early-stage startup
- Have experience selling to complex and technical buyer personas
What we offer:
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision and life insurance.
- Team dinners and snacks in the office to keep you at your best
- Growth opportunities in a fast-paced, innovative tech startup.
- Ongoing professional development and access to cutting-edge AI and healthcare tools.
- Lively in-person work culture at our SF Headquarters.
- $140,000 - $175,000 USD depending on experience equity benefits
Salary : $140,000 - $175,000
