What Will You Do?
- Maintain stock of consumable material i.e. cutting disk, drill bits, gloves, PPE, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Maintain paint stock levels
- Performs general manual labor tasks, including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Maintain stock of welding material
- Help maintain calibration of tools (welders, multimeters, torque wrenches, etc.)
- Issue welding material (Welding rod, wire, etc)
- Maintain inventory, control and issue power or calibrated tools
- Maintain hand tool requirements for assembly toolboxes
- Works with leads and coordinators
- Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures under a manufacturing setting
- Work involves frequent lifting
- Comply with all CHART policies and procedures
- Maintains good housekeeping and organization throughout the department
- Ensure all products have proper identification
- Perform other task assigned.
- Walking, Standing, Use of hands, Bending, Lifting, Sitting, Etc.
- Indoor working conditions
- Lifting of materials and product as up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- PPE must be worn at all times
- Able to work overtime as required
