What Will You Do?
Provide technical service and support to end-users.
- Diagnose issues and, when necessary, disassemble, repair, and reassemble fabricated machines and separators mounted on skids or within containers.
- Interpret and follow moderately complex wiring diagrams; wire control panels and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot all company products and provide effective solutions.
- Interact with customers to address inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding products and services.
- Collect and analyze customer information to identify and resolve issues.
- Research and utilize available resources to support problem resolution.
- Commission equipment in the field and ensure proper functionality.
- Coordinate activities with outside contractors as needed.
- Adhere to standard processes and procedures.
- Redirect problems to appropriate resources and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.
- Communicate with service specialists or designated personnel to coordinate needs, including parts, during fieldwork.
- Stay up to date on system information, changes, and updates.
- Prepare and deliver detailed field reports to customers.
Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Clear and accurate verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in typing and grammar.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Effective listening and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and complete work efficiently and on time.
- Demonstrated technical/professional expertise, including problem-solving, technical knowledge application, and product/service management.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with rotating equipment and HMI/PLC/VFD systems.
- Familiarity with water/wastewater operations.
- Ability to interpret process flow diagrams and understand cause/effect relationships in water/wastewater systems.
