The New Iberia facility specializes in cold box assembly and fabrication, pressure vessels, and other cryogenic equipment used in the air separation and hydrocarbon industries. End users of this equipment include all major LNG, petrochemical, and air separation engineering companies worldwide. The facility is located at the Port of Iberia.
What Will You Do?
Must possess basic knowledge of scaffold erection and disassembly.
Complete daily visual inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is operating properly.
Must be certified and able to erect scaffolds in compliance with OSHA CFR 1926.451 and/or CFR 1910.28.
Must possess basic knowledge of fall protection equipment.
Must be able to wear and use fall protection equipment in accordance with OSHA CFR 1926.502.
Required to work at elevated heights up to 75 ft.
Must adhere to all safety standards.
Additional Duties And Responsibilities May Be Assigned.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Working in an industrial manufacturing and port-based environment with exposure to noise, weather conditions, and shop hazards.
Performing essential job duties at elevated heights up to 75 feet, including working from scaffolds while using required fall protection
Standing, walking, lifting, and wearing required PPE for extended periods.
Your Experience Should Be...
A high school diploma and/or completion of a technical program
5 years of experience in a related field
The ability to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of shop math (preferred)
A combination of education and extended experience may be considered in place of formal education
