Chart's Assembler position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart's products. This position will be responsible for helping to produce high quality manufactured products used all over the world.
This position is located at our Independence facility located at 5500 E. Independence st. Tulsa, Oklahoma.
What Will You Do?
Assist in the assembly of air cooled heat exchangers
Observe and practice safety procedures and policies
Maintain required production and inspection records
Operating cranes and forklifts
Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
Repetitive hand movements during the assembly process
This position is classified as safety sensitive. Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols. Employees must be able to perform duties in a manner that ensures their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace
Your Experience Should Be...
Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with use of hand tools
Understanding and use of basic blueprints
Ability to use and understand various measuring devices
High School diploma or GED preferred
