What Will You Do?
- Operate forklift and 15 ton or 35 ton cherry picker to move and organize material around the yard and warehouse as needed.
- Assist in receiving when needed. Some light lifting required.
- Mandatory department for load out. Some light lifting required.
- Has working knowledge of spreaders, slings and chokers as to strength and placement on loads
- Lifts, moves and places loads, exercising care for the safety of other employees, material, property and equipment
- Performs a variety of work as an operator and other tasks as related to the operations of on-going projects
- Added duties and responsibilities may be assigned
- Responsible for any damage to equipment/materials caused by negligence
- This position is classified as safety sensitive . Due to the use of heavy machinery, power tools, and/or exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, the role requires heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols. Employees must be able to perform duties in a manner that ensures their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace
Your Experience Should Be...
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of fabrication tools and parts
- Experience with related equipment
- Crane operation certification required (May be obtained on-the-job)
- Education may be substituted by extended experience
