Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Covington, TN (on-site)

As an industry leader and innovator of the confectionery world, we proudly craft legendary treats like Charms Blow Pops, Tootsie Mini Pops, Caramel Apple Pops, and many more in our Covington, Tennessee facility. We are seeking an energetic, people-first HR Generalist to join us. This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role where you’ll serve as a go-to HR presence in the plant. You’ll keep the talent pipeline moving, partner with plant leadership on day-to-day HR needs, and build trust with hourly and salaried employees alike.

Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for all plant roles, from job posting and sourcing through offer and onboarding
- Administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, short-term disability, vacation, and others, serving at the primary point-of-contact for leave-related questions and coordination
- Build relationships with local schools, community organizations, and staffing partners to develop talent pipelines
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions on payroll, benefits, policies, and general workplace inquiries
- Assist with employee relations matters, escalating as appropriate
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, plant events, and efforts to foster a positive workplace culture
- Maintain employee records and support HR data entry and reporting
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or similar is a plus
- 3-5 years of talent acquisition or HR generalist experience, or a combination of both
- A naturally outgoing, relationship-oriented communication style; you’re energized by people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
