The Role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer located in Troy, MI. As a Loan Officer at Charmed Mortgage, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to loan origination, providing exceptional client service, and navigating the complexities of the home-buying journey using our diverse lender marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and educate them on the best mortgage products for their needs.
- Maintain active communication with Realtor partners, providing the transparency and speed they need to win in this market.
- Manage the loan process from application to closing with a focus on a "stress-free" client experience.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in mortgage lending.
- Consistently achieve monthly loan production volume as specified in the MLO Agreement.
- Originate residential mortgage loans (Purchase, Refi, Non QM, Reverse, and HELOCs)
- Work company-provided leads build your own referral network
Requirements
- Exceptional client service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all transactions.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience originating residential mortgages preferred, but not required.
- Must have prior experience using loan originating software and MS Office products.
- Strong product knowledge and underwriting requirements for Conventional and Government (FHA, VA, USDA) mortgage programs.
