What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager (Residential) position at CHARMED CITY CONSTRUCTION AND HOME?
We are a full service residential construction company committed to delivering high-quality projects with integrity and efficiency to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from planning through completion in Baltimore City.
What You'll Do
- Manage all phases of residential construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site crews to ensure quality and timely performance.
- Maintain project schedules, budget, and work plans.
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Meet clients for final walkthroughs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Oversee truck and tool maintenance, as needed.
- Any other tasks that are needed to complete projects successfully.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to train and teach as needed field staff members.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction management, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong knowledge of all construction trades and scopes of work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple teams.
- Commitment to client satisfaction.
- Regular on site attendance at job sites is required for this position.
