We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, handling inventory management, and operating heavy equipment safely. Responsibilities
- Operate a Electric Sit Down Forklift safely to move, load, and unload materials.
- Organize and manage inventory within the warehouse or work area.
- Maintain accurate records using basic computer systems.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully and stored properly.
Experience
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and logistics processes
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks; certification preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use
- Prior experience with order picking & packing, shipping & receiving is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling equipment operation
