What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Based BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Charm City Therapy?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school based team. The BCBA will work in a school based setting, providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism. This position involves supervision of RBTs, development and oversight of treatment plans, direct client assessment, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary team members.Key Responsibilities:Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA) and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R).Develop, implement, and supervise individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and best practices in ABA.Provide direct supervision and clinical guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior therapists.Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as needed.Train and support staff and caregivers on ABA principles and behavior intervention strategies.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and insurance requirements.Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development.Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards as outlined by the BACB and relevant state regulations.Qualifications:Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.Licensed as a behavior analyst in Maryland.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.Why Join Us?Collaborative and supportive clinical team.Opportunities for growth and advancement.Meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of children and families.
