Overview
Charm City Movers is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Mover to join our team. As a Lead Mover, you’ll oversee on-site moving operations, guide your crew, and ensure each job is completed safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with prior moving or logistics experience who enjoys leading a team and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate crew members during residential and commercial moves
- Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, and household goods
- Ensure all items are packed, wrapped, and handled with care
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction
- Train and motivate new movers to follow safety and service standards
- Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, logistics, or general labor (1 year preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items safely
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends
